The B.A. LL.B. (Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws) is a five year integrated professional degree program that combines the study of social sciences with the discipline of law. It is specially designed for students who wish to pursue a career in law Immediately after completing their 10+2 education. The course aims to provide a strong foundation in both humanities and legal studies, enabling students to understand the social, political and economic context in which laws operate. During the initial years, students are introduced to subjects such as Political Science, Sociology, Economics and History, which help them develop a broader perspective on society and governance. Alongside, the curriculum gradually integrates core legal subjects like Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Contract Law, Family Law, Property Law, Labour Law and Administrative Law, as well as procedural laws such as the Civil Procedure Code, Criminal Procedure Codean he Evidence Act. In addition, students also study emerging areas like Environmental Law, Intellectual Property Rights, Cyber Law and Human Rights.
